What You'll Do:

• Negotiate Like a Pro: Price and contract negotiations for essential goods and services, ensuring we get the best deals.
• Innovate and Improve: Dive deep into research to uncover opportunities that enhance quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness.
• Boost Efficiency: Develop and implement strategies that streamline operations and boost business performance.
• Monitor and Excel: Keep a close eye on supplier performance, ensuring they meet our high standards.
• Set and Achieve Goals: Create and monitor KPIs to track our success and drive continuous improvement.
• Source Smartly: Assist in the sourcing of critical production spares and consumables, ensuring we always have what we need.
• Work Independently: Take charge of your tasks and projects, showing initiative and leadership.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: Ideally, you're already holding or working towards a CIPS membership and / or have been working in a purchasing / procurement department for 2+ years
• Contract and Supplier Management: Strong background in managing contracts and suppliers.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with Navision or Business Central is a bonus.
• Team Player: Excellent communication and teamwork skills are a must.
• Flexible and Mobile: Willingness to support multiple locations, including regular visits to our head office in Northern Ireland.
