Job Description

As our business is expanding, our team is growing. We have a great opportunity for a self-motivated EHS Coordinator, with a drive for improvement and appetite for personal development. 

 

Responsibilities

Provide support to the EHS manager and collaborate with diverse stakeholders within the organisation on matters of EHS. With the aim to reduce I&I (injury and Illness) rate and increase proactive engagement and participation of employees in EHS.

 

Main responsibilities include:

  • Support external certifications ISO14001/45001, conduct internal audits and site visits where appropriate
  • Understand high level legal requirements on relevant topics i.e. lone working, work at heights, noise, asbestos, environmental legislation
  • Support with administration tasks related, such as raising PO’s and supporting the contracts with suppliers
  • Coordinating EHS learning through current tools, ensuring correct training is assigned. Respond and resolve queries where they arise
  • Collating data for meetings and preparation of reports, presentations, review of EHS KPI’s 
  • Support on incident investigations, conduct risk assessments, area inspections and COSHH assessments
  • Coordinate and support new initiatives
  • Occasional travel to sites required

 

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, qualifications, and experience:

  • Hold a NEBOSH Certificate or working towards
  • Have experience with maintaining ISO14001&45001 (auditing qualification not essential)
  • Have a pro-active and hands on approach to working
  • Ability to provide guidance
  • Pragmatic approach and ability to work with employees at all levels
