Salary & Benefits:

• Technician – £44,257.84p/a
• Income Protection, Death in Service Benefit, Private Healthcare, Pension Contribution, 25 Days Annual Leave + UK Bank Holidays, 12 Half-Days Per Year (Day Shift Workers)

Hours & Location:

• Monday to Friday – 8:00 AM to 16:30 PM
• Deeside, Flintshire, North Wales

Mechanical Partners is looking for skilled Mechanical Technicians to join our clients’ growing team in Deeside. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced professionals who want to work with state-of-the-art equipment in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Providing expert mechanical engineering support to production lines and plant facilities.
• Diagnosing and resolving faults to reduce downtime and maintain efficiency.
• Conducting root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions.
• Carrying out routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and equipment upgrades.
• Installing, overhauling, and maintaining machine rolls and heavy-duty equipment.
• Repairing and optimising mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.

What We’re Looking For:

• A completed 4+ year Apprenticeship and HNC level qualification in Mechanical Plant Maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical seals.
• Hands-on experience with mobile equipment, overhead cranes, slinging, and lifting techniques.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and ARC welding.
• Basic machining skills using lathes and milling machines.
• A proactive approach with a strong work ethic and adaptability.
• Commitment to health and safety regulations.
