This role involves understanding the sales process, identifying opportunities for marketing activity and pitch materials, and creating compelling content to guide leads through the sales funnel and drive business growth. This position requires a hands-on approach and the ability to collaborate with practitioners to understand the sales process and generate effective content. This role will work closely with the Head of Content & Creative and the BD team to develop knowledge of prospect marketing and sales conversion marketing, and to develop an understanding of market dynamics, customer behaviour, and sales process methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

· Target Audience Insight: Use insight from practitioners and the market to understand the key needs of prospects in different target audience groups. Assist in defining the messaging needed to convert leads into clients, consistent with our brand and GTM strategies.

· Content Creation: Develop and maintain a library of pitch materials, case studies, and sales collateral. Ensure the materials support our brand and marketing strategies, are compliant, and present our propositions and investment performance data effectively to improve prospect conversion.

· Content Adoption and Development: Work with the front office to drive adoption of pitch materials and sales collateral. Ensure the materials are well-received and understood by our practitioners and business development teams. Use feedback and analytical insights to continually improve the materials and their impact on commercial growth.

· Lead Nurturing: Work with the BD team and to implement marketing strategies to nurture leads through the sales funnel. Partner with the new business team to understand where conversion can be improved and develop materials to support this.

· Bespoke Pitch Materials: Assist in developing a process to support practitioners with bespoke pitch materials for higher value opportunities, partnering with the Business Development team to incorporate learnings from previous successful pitches.

· Sales & Revenue Analysis & Reporting: work with cross functional teams (commercial, marketing, front-office & operations) to develop & maintain dashboards & reports to monitor key performance metrics across the new business pipeline, sales collateral, the existing client lifecycle & internal processes/behaviours. Identify opportunities or inefficiencies & then work cross functionally to realise improvements.

Qualifications

Key Skills

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to engage senior audiences an added benefit.

· Ability to write compelling and on-brand pitch pack and sales collateral content, with support from a designer, and organize them for easy access by the front office.

· Experience with technology platforms like Seismic is valuable; ability to manage materials on this platform is essential.

· Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and an appetite for partnership across the marketing team and with front office and business development teams.

· A willingness to learn how to analyse quantitative and qualitative data to help optimize performance, generate actionable insights and measure activities' contribution to commercial goals. Excel, data visualisation & presentation skills to support effective data storytelling an added benefit.

· Forward-thinking mindset and a can-do attitude to explore innovative ways to enhance sales effectiveness.

· Time management and productivity skills: Balancing multiple responsibilities, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines is vital for success.
