Primary Purpose of Job:
As the Warehouse Associate your primary responsibility is picking orders, receiving shipments, and loading route trucks for our 60 retail locations. These locations are all within a 150-mile radius of the St. Louis area. You will be responsible for inputting, sorting, loading, and unloading products as they come and go from our warehouse and out to the retail locations. This position is also expected to serve as a backup delivery drivers as needed.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive warehouse trucks to transport orders and materials to designated sites.
Loads delivery vehicles for the purpose of ensuring that all items and supplies are properly counted and secured.
Organize stocks and maintain inventory.
Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately.
Maintains vehicles (checking fluid levels, fueling, cleaning, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring safe vehicle operations.
Receives stock and non-stock items for the purpose of ensuring specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct and /or inspecting items for damage.
Responds to inquiries of staff for the purpose of providing information and/or direction regarding the status of deliveries, and/or reporting discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
Stocks equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining required inventory levels.
Unloads items for the purpose of distributing shipment to assigned site locations and/or individuals.
Handle any other work that can be assigned at the supervisor’s discretion.
 
Education/Experience Qualifications
Highschool Diploma
2 years of warehouse experience 
Class E Driver’s License preferred
Forklift experience preferred

Physical Requirements
This position is performed in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to general office equipment, beverage equipment, coolers, and any other site-specific equipment/factors. You could also encounter exposure to hazardous materials and loud noises. This job requires the ability to walk, stand, bend, and reach regularly. Must be able to frequently be required to lift, push, or pull weight of at least 5 to 75 pounds. Ability to work in different Midwest Petroleum Stations.
