Apprentice Electrical Technician

As an Apprentice Electrical Technician, you will be an important member of the Electrical workshop team. This team is responsible for delivering a range of world class leading innovative products and solutions for Wireline Systems, Wellhead Pressure Control Equipment, and machinery to satisfy customers. Acting under the guidance of the Electrical chargehand, you will be carrying out the installation, assembly, and maintenance of a wide range of Electrical equipment which can be hydraulic, pneumatic, or electromechanical products. You will be focused on customers’ needs both internal and external. 

You should be keen to take on fresh challenges, develop your technical and interpersonal skills as well as expand your knowledge and experience through a variety of exciting projects. Crucial to this role will be your ability to contribute to continual improvement processes, enhancing efficiency and performance within your team, and working in line with our business strategy.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install electrical equipment according to safety guidelines and electrical code requirements
• Collaborate with the Electrical chargehand and other team members 
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace
• Work closely with other team members to promote a positive work environment and achieve business objectives
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve the quality and efficiency of electrical work performed on the products
• Keep up-to-date with advancements in electrical technology, safety regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and promote innovation
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Electrical chargehand to support the goals of the business.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• High School diploma or equivalent 
• Ongoing Electrical NC college (not essential)
